The Enper Official Rules

This is how it works here at Enper:
• Users will be given infractions when rules are broken.
• A user who receives 5 infractions will receive a temporary 3 day ban
• A user who receives 7 infractions will receive a temporary 7 day ban.
• Infractions expire after 2 months.
• Users are permanently banned after multiple temporary bans when necessary.
• Users issued a final warning will be permanently banned after any further infractions.

Users can also be banned immediately for breaking the most serious rules.

Users will receive 1 infraction for the following:
• Spamming:
• Posting short, unhelpful comments (such as "cool", "nice acc", "added", etc). This also includes "Free Bumps" for another user's thread.

• Flooding a forum with replies for the sole purpose of increasing post count. This may also be a permanent forumban in certain forums, especially if deliberate.

• Posting comments with little to no relevance to the topic
• Creating multiple threads advertising the same thing, regardless of the section.

• Excessive bumping**: - No double posting / delete posts within 8 hours (spam rules still apply)
• Accusing Someone of Scamming: without proof (text logs DO NOT COUNT AS PROOF)
• Begging: asking for free RS items, RS accounts (etc) or asking for a rank or modship on Ernlk
• Thread Hijacking: Offering your services/Sales on the thread of someone else's services or sales
• Infraction Complaints: Making a topic asking about one’s infraction, whining, asking for infraction removal, etc... (you may politely question your infraction by PMing the issuing moderator)
• Oversized Signature*: Maximum of 350 pixels in height including all quotes/text/pictures in it and a maximum of 650 pixels in width with all text/quotes/pictures. If this offense is repeatedly broken, you will simply be banned from having a signature.
• Flaming: excessive cursing, insults, and/or derogatory comments towards another user
• Advertising MM Services: in any place except the User Services and MiddleMan Application forums
• Referrals: posting referral links for sites, surveys, other games, etc. This includes sites such as Share-cash.
• Trolling: harassing other members (malicious harassment of other members or intentional misleading of staff may result in a perm ban - "trolling" is not an acceptable excuse)
• Grave Digging: This is self explanatory. If a thread hasn't had a post in several weeks or months. Don't post on it. (Exception: Spam Forum and some select threads. Use best discretion when posting.)
• Requiring Vouches: You may not promise/require a vouch in the market. Vouches are given when the user you're dealing with feels you deserve a vouch, and no one is obligated to vouch under any circumstances.
• Blank Posting: Self explanatory. If you are infracted and continue to blank post, you may be issued a forumban.
• Asking for a Name Change: See the section below entitled Additional Notes/Clauses for more information about name change rules.

Users will be banned for 1 month for the following:
• Advertising: Advertising a site in a post for the first offence will be a 1 month ban, further punishments may lead to a permanent ban. Includes links to other Markets, Goldfarm sites, etc.. If you wish to legitimately advertise your site on Enper then e-mail: [Only admins are allowed to see this link]. Advertising Bots will be permanently banned.
• Porn/Gore: posting pictures, videos, links to websites related to porn/extreme gore, etc. The staff will decide what constitutes porn or gore. It is not for you to decide. Steer clear of posting anything which could be interpreted as this.
• Plagiarism: plagiarism (including the ripping of GFX and RS/User Ed Guides) results in a forumban from the pertinent forum as well as a one month ban the first time it happens.
• Disclosure of Others' Personal Information/etc.: you are entitled to disclose your own personal information, photographs, etc. in the appropriate places on the site, but posting information such as addresses, personal MSNs, photographs, etc. of other members without their permission will result in a 1 month ban. Likewise, selling Facebook (or other social network accounts) is also strictly prohibited.

Users will be banned for 3 months for the following:
• Interacting on Two or More Accounts/Sharing Accounts: you are strongly advised not to create more than one account at Sythe.org, but, if you do, ensure that the accounts do not interact. Sharing accounts is not allowed.
• Self Vouching: Self vouching is when you create a vouch for yourself using another account, or with fake quotes. The first instance will result in a three month ban, but if there is a second encounter, the ban will be permanent.

• Fake Vouching: Fake vouching is when a person is given a vouch by someone else for either doing nothing, or for the sake of increasing vouch count. This rule also covers stealing other peoples' vouches and passing them off as your own and using fake quotes. The first offence is a 3 month ban, and the second is a permanent ban.

Users will be banned permanently for the following:
• Scamming: or any suspicious behavior similar to scamming or counter-scamming (i.e. attempting to scam), this includes Runescape name Sniping. This also includes:
• Impersonating other members, and any other similar behavior.

• Impersonating ranks through the use of your signature.

• Malicious Off-site Activities: If you are found to have committed offences elsewhere (as in, on other sites) which would constitute a ban here on Enper had they been committed here, we may use these offences as an indicator of your character and choose to ban you. Offences committed prior to your membership here may also be considered depending on the nature of the offence.
• Posting Infected Files/Malware: Keyloggers, viruses, trojans, etc...
• Returning After a Ban/Ban Evading: If one of your accounts has been banned for whatever reason and you return under another account, that account will also be banned. Frequent ban evasion will result in an IP ban.
• Selling your Enper account: Self explanatory.
• "Blackhat"/Malicious Activities: Using software tools for deceptive, malicious, or harmful intent (hacking). Punishment for these offences will be dealt with on case-by-case basis, but will most likely result in a permanent ban.

Additional Notes/Clauses:
• A note on IP addresses: if there is a banned account on your IP address, other accounts attached to the IP will also be banned. Moreover, if there is any interaction between accounts attached to the same IP address, all accounts will be banned.
• Staff reserve the right to ban or infract for any unconscionable act. The above rules and associated punishments only apply when the staff can reasonably judge that a user does not deserve some other, perhaps more severe form of punishment for any unconscionable act they might make on the forums.
• If your Sythe or MSN account is hacked, and the hacker uses your account to scam materials from another member, you, as the account owner, are responsible for refunding those who were scammed by the hacker in order to be unbanned. Although the refunding generally results in an unban, this is at the staff's discretion.
• Name changes are NOT allowed except in ONE, and only ONE, case. If someone is promoted to staff and has an unprofessional username, we may allow them to change it to something more professional. If their existing username is professional enough, however, they will NOT be given a name change. Name changes are NOT a donator perk IN ANY WAY regardless of donation level. Capitalization and other "minor" changes are included in this rule regardless of how "minor" the change may seem. Asking staff members for a name change in violation of these rules may result in an infraction.
• Businesses/Partnerships: Anyone running a business or partnered service implicitly agrees to share responsibility for the actions of their co-owners, as well as any workers they employ. Thus, if a partner or worker scams, all owners of the business will be banned until the debt is repaid. Workers, however, are not liable for anyone's actions but their own (although it is up to the staff to determine who falls into that category).
•Tampering with the PayPal donation system in any way is grounds for a ban. This includes donating when you aren't eligible, submitting false payments, charging back payments, and so on. Please use the system as it is designed and don't ruin it for everyone.
